In a worldwide premiere, it will also be tested to stream the ntv livestream directly within an AR tag. The new approach thus represents a promising way of linking the analog and digital worlds: while the view through the camera shows the real world environment, the AR technology blends computer graphics to show additional information about what is being seen. Die Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland startet einen Inhalte-Test zum Thema Augmented Reality mit dem australischen Start-up tagSpace. Das Software-Unternehmen mit Sitz in Brisbane bietet eine eigens entwickelte Lösung für ortsbezogene AR-Erlebnisse in Städten, Stadien, auf Festivals und anderen Großveranstaltungen. Über eine Plug-In-Applikation könnten als möglicher Ansatzpunkt für die Mediengruppe RTL Top-News und der Livestream von ntv direkt in Standorte integriert werden, an denen klassischerweise Nachrichten konsumiert werden, wie beispielsweise am Kölner Hauptbahnhof. In einer weltweiten Premiere soll zudem getestet werden, den ntv-Livestream direkt innerhalb eines AR-Tags zu streamen. Der neue Ansatz stellt somit eine vielversprechende Möglichkeit dar, die analoge mit der digitalen Welt zu verknüpfen: Während der Blick durch die Kamera die reale Weltumgebung zeigt, bindet die AR-Technologie Computergrafiken ein, um zusätzliche Informationen über das Gesehene zu zeigen. Als weitere Integration innerhalb eines Prototypen sind die Entwicklung von AR-Themen-Specials an beispielsweise historischen Orten wie der Berliner Mauer geplant.
